Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize 2010

Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize is a biennial international award to recognise individuals and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to the creation of vibrant, liveable and sustainable urban communities around the world. The inaugural Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize will be awarded in June 2010 at the Lee Kuan Yew Awards Ceremony and Banquet, which will be held during the World Cities Summit 2010 in Singapore.

Nominations are applicable for all individuals and organisations who have demonstrated key leadership role in the fields of (but not limited to) urban planning, urban policies and programmes, urban management, and applied technology in urban solutions.

22 Jun 2009: Official lauch of the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize
18 Sep 2009: Stage A Nominations close
30 Nov 2009: Stage B Submission close
May 2010: Announcement of the first Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize Laureate
June 2010: Awards Ceremony and Banquet
